Hi everyone I would like to inform you of this game changing find that I found which will enhance your railroading experience using train simulator. I originally posted this on the steam discussion board and thought that you guys and girls would like to know. you will find me on steam as theskipper98.
First of all you run a route in quick drive, then go to the build editor and clone the quick drive route which will read copy of quick drive scenario. Then open the copy of quick drive scenario in the scenario editor in rw tools and pick what service that you want to drive in the opposite direction and save the quick drive scenario as a Free roam scenario and the result is you now have a random quick drive. You can do this every time that you run a quick drive route by cloning and creating a Freeroam scenario in rw tools. Also when you come of route you can pick up freight wagons and shunt and drive anywhere and jump to different services.
I really hope that it helps all you railway enthusiasts.
Any route can have free roam scenarios, it's just that by default no free roam scenarios have been provided with most new route/loco DLC released by DTG over the last 3 years or so (as explained above DTG stopped making them for new Steam add-on content; they belive there is no longer demand for such scenarios!). How to make a free roam scenario on train simulator 2019 edition. Hope you enjoyed the latest video from Locoforce! Hi Can someone please let me know how to work with Free Roam Scenarios. I cannot get them to work and cannot find how in the Manual. In the scenarios section I select Free Roam and then select a Route but there is no engine listed, when I select an engine the route changes. I was wondering if DTG might consider adding a free roam mode, such as in MSTS (I know TS20x does this too, but its a dit different). When you are the only train on a route and have free run of it, I have found it to be very useful for exploring and really learning a route. Hi, I’ve finally got around to playing the East Coastway, and it’s certainly my favourite route so far. Particularly enjoyable is the fact that the frequency of services make this route feel alive and enjoyable to free roam, especially compared to the Great Western express where free roam simply isn’t viable with such little traffic.
